I’m watching the cutest girls, two 12-year-old Chihuahuas named Lucy and Eithel and an adorable Yorkie named Daphney, who is a puppy mill survivor.

Hiking Adventure: Dogs and Cows

Ginger, Kaylee, Wilma, and the terriers -- Kobie, Prancer and little Blitz -- found cows today! The chase was on for about 100 yards, then they went over the small hill and all came running back -- the dogs, I mean. When I got a little farther up the trail, I saw why. There were about 30 cows up there! The four the dogs chased had back-up cows ready and waiting! All ended well, everybody then minded their own business, and we continued on the trail for the rest of the hike.

I’m Pat Donoho, and I have a service called Auntie Pat’s Pet Sitting in Kanab, located at the heart of the Golden Circle of national parks in southern Utah. If you’re visiting Best Friends Animal Society and you have your pets with you at your hotel, I’m happy to stay with them while you volunteer or visit the sanctuary. Or, I can simply check in on them and walk them for their potty breaks while you're away. Also, if you’re local and need my sitting services, I look forward to hearing from you as well and meeting your pets.
